Challenge

Facing the ocean just steps from the water, the owner of this coastal penthouse wanted to create a visually calm oasis to enjoy idyllic summer holidays and short breaks. Responding to beautiful surroundings, the SELBEUM studio’s team reflected the tones and textures of the outdoors within the 300-square-foot home.

The designers emphasized the connection to the outdoors by establishing a foundation of natural materials.

The designers selected a complex neutral color palette – the walls, in complex shades of grey – to make the perfect background for bright and modern artworks. We created a personalized home for living comfortably surrounded by art indoors and nature outdoors.

    A living room, kitchen, home office, terrace and private spaces of this holiday house provide everything needed for the luxury Mediterranean lifestyle. Creating a healthy home was a priority for the team of the SELBEUM studio.

    Water-based finishes and natural materials were used throughout. The organic shapes of modern furniture in this natural and airy interior create an atmosphere of a place to get away, relax and restore oneself.
